“The Blacklist: Redemption” Officially Canceled By NBC

NBC has unsurprisingly passed on a second season of the spin-off.

The Blacklist Redemption

Given that “The Blacklist” is not a ratings monster, there was no reason to believe spin-off “The Blacklist: Redemption” would post good numbers.

It did not. And following an inaugural season of poor live+same-day performances, it received a cancellation notice from NBC.

The “Blacklist Redemption” cancellation leaves “Trial & Error” and “Chicago Justice” as NBC’s only in-season scripted series awaiting news on their futures.
