Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” Certified 2X Platinum In The United States

Nicki Minaj’s 2014 album “The Pinkprint” is now multi-platinum in the United States.

The album, which spawned hits like “Anaconda” and “Only,” was officially certified 2X platinum on February 10, 2016.

The 2x platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million. Under the new RIAA certification system, a unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales, or 1500 track streams.

As it had only previously been certified gold, “The Pinkprint” also received a retroactive platinum certification on February 10.
