Justin Bieber’s “WDYM,” “Sorry” Certified 4X Platinum, “Love Yourself” 2X, “I’ll Show You” Platinum

When it comes to Justin Bieber’s collection of US digital single certifications, January 15, 2016 marked a very big day.

The artist received new multi-platinum distinctions for his three most recent radio singles. He also received a platinum honor for an additional “Purpose” album track.

According to the RIAA, Bieber’s radio singles “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” officially reached 4x platinum status on January 15. The 4x platinum certifications confirms a US unit total of at least 4 million; one unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

Both were 2x platinum prior to January 15.

“Love Yourself,” which is Bieber’s current radio single, was certified up to 2x platinum (2 million units) on January 15. “I’ll Show You” concurrently earned a platinum honor (1 million).
