Adele’s “When We Were Young,” “Remedy” Reach Top 5 on iTunes Sales Chart (Updated)

Update: As of 2:20PM ET, Adele’s “25” has six tracks inside the Top 10 of the US iTunes sales chart.

An additional three are in the Top 20, and all are inside the Top 30. Here is how they are positioned:

Update: All tracks from Adele’s new “25” are quickly soaring up the US iTunes singles chart. Among the non-“Hello” tracks, “When We Were Young” has thus far made the biggest splash.

The song, which was introduced to fans earlier this week, is already #4 on the iTunes chart. It trails only Adele’s lead “25” single “Hello” (#1), Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” (#2), and Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” (#3) on the listing.

“Remedy” also appears headed for the Top 10. It is currently #14 on the chart.

As of 9:15AM ET, the eleven tracks are all positioned within the Top 60. They are ranked as follows:

14 – Remedy
17 – Water Under The Bridge
19 – Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
22 – All I Ask
23 – Love In The Dark

Adele’s new album “25” predictably sits at #1 on the US iTunes album sales chart.

As of 3AM ET on November 20, “25” also has prominent representation on the US iTunes singles chart. Ten of the eleven album tracks are positioned within the Top 200 on the sales chart; seven are inside the Top 100.

The record-breaking lead single “Hello” obviously remains at #1. Save for a brief overtaking by “The Voice” contestant Jordan Smith’s “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” “Hello” has remained at #1 since its October 20 release.

“When We Were Young,” which was teased with a live performance video earlier this week, is thus far the best-selling of the newly released album tracks. As of press time, it was up to #34 on the listing.

“Remedy” follows at #63, while “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” “All I Ask” and “Love In The Dark” are #77, #78, and #79, respectively.

Bottlenecked by the fact that hundreds of thousands of iTunes users are buying the complete album, the singles will nonetheless keep advancing as Friday unfolds.
