Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind” Repeats as Hot AC Radio’s Most Added; Crosses 200K Sales

Last week, Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind” tied Rudimental’s “Lay It All On Me (featuring Ed Sheeran)” for most-added at hot adult contemporary radio.

This week, it lays sole claim to the distinction.

“On My Mind” received adds from another 22 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations this week. That doubles the count achieved by the format’s next-most-added songs.

The new showing of support comes as “On My Mind” already holds a Top 30 position on the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. Goulding’s single is also nearing the Top 10 on the pop airplay listing.

Not simply a radio force, “On My Mind” is also developing sales momentum. Nielsen Music says it sold 50,053 paid US downloads during the October 9-15 tracking week, which brought its cumulative total to 209,865.

Added by 11 monitored Hot AC stations, Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” and the aforementioned “Lay It All On Me” tie for second-most-added. Andy Grammer’s “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah),” Demi Lovato’s “Confident,” and Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible (featuring Demi Lovato)” follow in a three-way tie for fourth-most-added. Each song received 9 weekly pickups.
