Lindsay Ell’s “By The Way” Ranks as Country Radio’s Most-Added Song

A handful of buzzworthy tracks impacted the country radio format this week.

Lindsay Ell’s “By The Way” received the greatest showing of initial support.

Picked up by 37 Mediabase-monitored stations this week, the Canadian musician’s new single earns the country format’s most-added distinction.

Dylan Scott’s “Crazy Over Me,” which also impacted this week, follows as second-most-added. It received adds from 31 monitored stations.

An add count of 30 earns Chris Janson’s new “Power of Positive Drinkin'” the week’s third-most-added honor, while Charles Kelley’s new “The Driver (featuring Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay)” and Thomas Rhett’s soaring “Die A Happy Man” tie for fourth-most-added. The two songs each received 25 monitored pickups.

Other notable country options this week: Granger Smith’s “Backroad Song” (20 adds, 6th-most-added), Sam Hunt’s “Break Up In A Small Town” (16 adds, 7th-most-added), Rascal Flatts’ “I Like The Sound Of That” (12 adds, 8th-most-added), Michael Ray’s “Real Men Love Jesus” (10 adds, 9th-most-added), and Zac Brown Band’s “Beautiful Drug” (9 adds, 10th-most-added).
