Despite underwhelming ratings interest in his recent RAW segments, Daniel Bryan remains the most likely candidate for a WWE title shot at Summerslam.
According to the Wrestling Observer, plans for a John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan title match are absolutely still intact for Summerslam. Though the angle might not begin tonight, it is definitely due to take flight in time for WWE’s third-largest annual show.
Romantically linked to Nikki and Brie Bella, respectively, Cena and Bryan will both be featured on the upcoming “Total Divas” reality show. There is no indication their feud will stem specifically from footage on that show, but any “behind-the-scenes” tension they do display would certainly help the angle better resonate with viewers.
