After spending several hours in the #1 position, Nicki Minaj’s new “MEGATRON” ceded its US iTunes throne to another high-profile new release.
As of press time at 6:40PM ET Friday, Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “Señorita” now ranks as the store’s best-selling song across all genres.
The iTunes success comes as the video “Señorita” also amasses considerable interest on YouTube. The song is also receiving “on the hour” airplay from numerous mainstream radio stations.
“MEGATRON” is now the #2 song on iTunes, while BTS & Juice WRLD’s “All Night” follows at #3. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus)” (#4) and Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down” (#5) complete the Top 5.
