Rachel Brosnahan, Bill Hader Earn Emmy Awards For Lead Acting In A Comedy Series

“Mrs. Maisel” and “Barry” continue to rule the early portion of the Emmys.

Stars from Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and HBO’s “Barry” won this year’s Emmys for Outstanding Actress and Actor in a Comedy Series.

They also won the Emmys in the lead acting category.

“Mrs. Maisel” star Rachel Brosnahan received the Outstanding Lead Actress Award. Bill Hader, star of “Barry,” earned the Lead Actor trophy.

Brosnahan’s fellow nominees included Pamela Adlon, Allison Janney, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Lily Tomlin.
Other actor nominees included William H. Macy, Donald Glover, Larry David, Anthony Anderson, and Ted Danson.
