The RIAA presented P!nk with a double dose of good news Thursday.
The artist’s 2017 album “Beautiful Trauma” — and its lead single “What About Us” — both attained platinum status in the United States.
The platinum album certification confirms 1 million in US album units. Each unit is equal to 1 sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.
The single certification also confirms 1 million units, but in that case, the units are equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Beautiful Trauma” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. “What About Us” peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100.
