Lana Del Rey’s rendition of “Doin’ Time” is set to reach #1 on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio chart.
The Sublime cover received 2,415 spins during the first five days of the September 15-21 tracking period. Up 12% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Doin’ Time” at #1 on Mediabase’s building/real-time chart.
As “Doin’ Time” does not face imminent threats from below, it should have no trouble retaining its position through the close of tracking.
“Doin’ Time” will become Lana Del Rey’s first #1 on the alternative radio chart.
