The week’s highest-profile new release is currently the best-selling song on US iTunes.

Maroon 5’s “Memories,” that song, rose to #1 on the all-genre sales chart early Friday afternoon. It remains in the pinnacle position as of press time at 4:45PM ET.

Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” follows at #2, while Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” sits at #3. Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “Señorita” (#4) and Post Malone’s “Circles” (#5) complete the Top 5.

Not simply faring well from a sales standpoint, “Memories” is also receiving considerable opening day airplay at Hot AC and pop radio. It also has prominent positioning on Spotify.
