Last week, Brett Young’s “Mercy” reached #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

This week, it will claim #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

Through the first six days of the August 5-11 tracking period, “Mercy” dominantly ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played and most heard song. It should have no trouble closing the week on top.

“Mercy” will seize the Mediabase throne from Keith Urban’s “Coming Home (featuring Julia Michaels),” which will fall out of the Top 10 this week.

Based on its current performance, it may also be able to notch a second week atop the Billboard chart.

“Mercy” follows “Sleep Without You,” “In Case You Didn’t Know,” and “Like I Loved You” as Young’s fourth consecutive country radio #1.
