“Mayores” just received a major certification upgrade.

Becky G’s hit single “Mayores (featuring Bad Bunny)” just reached double diamond – and then some – in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “Mayores” was certified 21x platinum under the RIAA’s Latin Music Program.

Issued June 25, the certification confirms 1.26 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Designed to honor music primarily in Spanish, the Latin Music Program uses an adjusted certification ratio. A standard platinum certification signifies 1 million units; a Latin platinum award confirms 60,000.

In reaching 21x platinum, “Mayores” becomes just the eighth (and arguably seventh, as Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito” was later moved to the standard program) Latin single to go double-diamond in the US.
