While it cedes its throne at pop radio, Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” improves to #1 at another radio format.

Up two places, it earns #1 on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

“Slow Hands” received ~6,303 spins during the October 1-7 tracking week, besting last week’s mark by 334.

Horan becomes the first One Direction member to score a #1 Hot AC hit outside the group.

Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still,” which was #4 last week, moves into the runner-up spot this week. It received ~6,163 tracking week spins (+384).

Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” last week’s #1, falls to #3 this week. It garnered ~6,082 spins (-154).

Down two places, Charlie Puth’s “Attention” takes #4 with ~5,566 spins (-531). P!nk’s “What About Us” concurrently rises one spot to #5 with ~5,541 spins (+385).
