Charlie Puth released “How Long,” the follow-up to his #1 pop radio hit “Attention,” this past Thursday.

It officially impacts pop radio on October 17, but many stations have proven unwilling to wait that long.

According to Mediabase, five had played the song at least ten times by the end of Friday.

San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 and San Diego’s ENERGY 103.7, the top supporters, had each played the song 15 times by the close of Friday.

San Francisco’s 99.7 NOW offered 12 spins, while Portsmouth’s Z107 and New York’s 92.3 AMP provided 11 and 10 spins, respectively.

While only those five delivered double-digit spin counts, many other stations played “How Long” several times on Thursday and Friday.

“How Long” closed Friday with a total of 217 pop spins.
