Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” Headed For Pop Radio’s Top 5

“Slow Hands” is on track to score a Top 5 position this week.

Earlier this summer, “Slow Hands” became Niall Horan’s first solo Top 10 hit at pop radio.

This week, it will likely become his first Top 5 hit at the format.

“Slow Hands” received 1,910 spins Sunday, which marked the first day of the August 27-September 2 tracking week. Up 19.3% from last Sunday’s count, the tally slots “Slow Hands” at #5 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Sunday airplay can be erratic, but it still seems safe to conclude “Slow Hands” will retain its Top 5 position through the close of tracking. There are no imminent threats to its position.

The song even has a chance of improving to #4 — by leapfrogging DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts (featuring Rihanna & Bryson Tiller)” — by the close of tracking.
