Rise Against’s “The Violence” Earns #1 At Active Rock Radio

“The Violence” edges “Lights Out” for the top spot on this week’s active rock radio chart.

A nail-biter of an active rock radio airplay race ends in favor of Rise Against’s “The Violence.”

Played 1,868 times during the August 20-26 tracking week (+96), “The Violence” rises one place to #1 on this week’s Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

It seizes the throne from Royal Blood’s “Lights Out,” which falls to #2 after two weeks on top.

“The Violence,” notably, won the race by only three spins. “Lights Out”‘s weekly spin count of 1,865 trails last week’s mark by 151 plays.

Greta Van Fleet’s “Highway Tune,” which received 1,742 spins (+109), holds at #3.

Highly Suspect’s “Little One” remains #4 with 1,693 spins (+76), while I Prevail’s “Alone” rises two spots to #5 with 1,428 plays (+52).
