After spending two weeks in the runner-up slot, Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” is finally on track for #1 on the Mediabase alternative airplay chart.

“Feel It Still” received 1,838 spins during the first four days of the June 18-24 tracking week. Up 3.5% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Feel It Still” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Its closest competition on the building chart comes from Imagine Dragons’ “Believer,” which received 1,738 spins during the tracking week’s first four days.

“Feel It Still” does not hold a massive lead in plays, but it does have the clear momentum advantage. Whereas it is up 3.5% from the same time last week, “Believer” is down by 5.9%. Barring a sudden and highly unlikely change in trajectory, “Feel It Still” will expand its lead as the tracking week concludes.

“Believer” has spent twelve weeks at #1.

“Feel It Still” will be Portugal. The Man’s first #1 at alternative radio.
