As if there were any doubt, Syfy officially confirmed that its annual “The Twilight Zone” marathon will return over New Year’s.

The 22nd annual edition of the marathon will begin at 6AM on Saturday, December 31 and run through 4AM on Monday, January 2. As always, the marathon will feature many of the anthology series’ most iconic episodes.

This year’s marathon will, however, have a new twist. For the first time ever, fans will get to select the episodes that air during the primetime (8-11PM) block on New Year’s Day.

“Starting at 7:30/6:30c, viewers can cast their votes for one of two competing episodes by tweeting the specially created episode hashtags to the official Syfy handle, @Syfy. In all, 12 episodes will be in contention for 6 slots, with the winning episodes airing immediately following a 15-minute voting window,” details Syfy’s press release.
