Frank Ocean’s “Blonde” Arrives, Quickly Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

The “Endless” movie was indeed not the only new Frank Ocean material released this weekend.

“Blonde” (stylized “blond”), a more conventional sophomore album, made its debut Saturday afternoon.

The album features seventeen tracks. “Nikes,” a single that emerged prior to the full album’s premiere, is the opening track.

“Blonde” predictably soared to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart shortly after its official release. Given that no other album was expected to even sell 50,000 US copies this week, “Blonde” appears poised to easily rank as the week’s top pure seller. Specific sales projections should emerge in the coming days.
