Tim McGraw, Lee Brice, Rodney Atkins Earn New Platinum Certifications

Three solo male country artists recently earned new platinum certifications under the RIAA’s digital singles program.

On February 26, 2016, Tim McGraw earned a platinum honor for “Felt Good On My Lips.” The platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million, with one unit being equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams (previously 100, retroactive scoring may apply).

McGraw also earned gold (500,000) distinctions for “Just To See You Smile” and “She’s My Kind Of Rain.”

Lee Brice’s award-winning “I Drive Your Truck” also went platinum on on February 26. Rodney Atkins’ “If You’re Going Through Hell” earned the same distinction on the same day.
