Drake’s “Back to Back” Debuted with 122K Sales; “Charged Up,” “Hotline Bling” Also Arrive

Drake’s “Back to Back” generated enough overall weekly activity to claim the #21 spot on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

The diss track fared particularly well in the sales arena.

According to Nielsen Music, “Back to Back” drove 122,000 paid US downloads during the July 31-August 6 tracking week. It was the period’s #4 Digital song; only One Direction’s “Drag Me Down,” The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” and OMI’s “Cheerleader” sold more weekly copies.

Thanks to its 4.5 million weekly US streams, “Back to Back” concurrently earns #32 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart.

“Back to Back” was one of several new Drake tracks to resonate during the most recent tracking week.

— “Hotline Bling,” which starts at #66 on the Hot 100, drove 40,000 weekly sales (#30 on Digital Songs).

— “Charged Up,” which debuts at #78 on the Hot 100, drove 47,000 weekly sales (#22 on Digital Songs).

— “Right Hand,” which arrives at #4 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, drove 27,000 weekly sales (#46 on Digital Songs).
