Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor’s “Marvin Gaye,” which this week rose to a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100, also advances on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Up four places, the song grabs #23 on this week’s edition of the chart. It received ~3,681 spins during the August 2-8 tracking week (+554).

“Marvin Gaye” is the week’s only new addition to the Top 25. One song does, however, re-enter.

Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town,” which was pushed back one spot to #26 last week, reaches a new peak of #24 on this week’s chart. It received ~3,437 tracking week spins (+264).

Both songs are concurrently charting at the hot adult contemporary format. Lambert’s “Ghost Town” is #18 this week, while Puth’s “Marvin Gaye” is #19.
