One Direction, Jidenna, Afrojack & Mike Taylor Join Pop Radio’s Top 30

One Direction [ABC]

One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” was only available for two of the seven days in the July 26-August 1 tracking week. It still earned enough airplay to reach #38 on that week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.

Since it was available for the entirety of the subsequent August 2-8 tracking week, it predictably charts much higher on this week’s listing.

Spun ~2,875 times during the August 2-8 period (+1,355), “Drag Me Down” rises twelve places to #26 on this week’s chart.

It is one of three additions to the chart’s Top 30.

Also new to that portion of the chart is Jidenna’s “Classic Man.” The song rises three places to #29 on the strength of ~2,415 weekly spins (+202).

Up five places, Afrojack’s “SUMMERTHING! (featuring Mike Taylor)” grabs #30 this week. It received ~2,165 tracking week spins (+380).
