Ratings: “Rectify” Season Premiere Draws 224,000 Viewers

In its announcement confirming a fourth season renewal, Sundance made no mention of ratings for “Rectify.” It is a source of critical acclaim and a valuable component of the network’s branding strategy, but it is not a massive audience draw.

Thursday’s season three premiere stayed true to that overall label. It did, however, outperform the season two premiere.

Thursday’s episode drew a 0.07 adults 18-49 rating with 224,000 viewers. Both numbers top those of the season two finale, which managed a 0.05 rating with 165,000 viewers.

Five episodes remain in the third season of Sundance’s “Rectify.”
