Ratings: “Lip Sync Battle” Returns, Nearly Hits Viewership Low

Returning with its first original since the May 28 showdown between Queen Latifah and Marlon Wayans, “Lip Sync Battle” nearly set a series low in total viewership.

The episode, which featured Alison Brie vs. Will Arnett, drew a 0.60 adults 18-49 rating with 1.273 million viewers.

Both numbers down sharply from those of the Latifah-Wayans episode, which drew a 1.00 rating with 1.913 million viewers.

Only the April 30 Hoda Kotb vs. Michael Strahan episode, which drew 1.266 million viewers, fared worse in the viewership column.

Despite the episode-to-episode drop, this week’s episode still fared well by network standards. It was cable television’s #7 original program Thursday night.
