The Voice’s Chris Jamison Wins Two iTunes Bonuses, Craig, Matt Win One

Update 2: The voting deadline has arrived, and it brings forth the news that Team Adam contestant Chris Jamison, who had never before secured an iTunes bonus, received two this week.

Both of the contestant’s recordings held positions within the all-genre iTunes top ten at the close of voting, which means both will be subject to a vote multiplier.

Team Blake’s Craig Wayne Boyd and Team Adam’s Matt McAndrew each received one.

When the clock struck 12PM ET, the ten “The Voice” semi-final recordings were positioned as follows on the iTunes all-genre single sales chart:

2) Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake) – The Old Rugged Cross
5) Matt McAndrew (Team Adam) – Make it Rain

For the second time this season, Team Blake contestant Craig Wayne Boyd is set to receive an iTunes multiplier bonus.

And this one comes at a crucial juncture of the competition.

By the time the west coast broadcast of Monday’s semifinals edition of “The Voice” aired, CWB’s “The Old Rugged Cross” was already a top five seller on the iTunes all-genre single sales chart. By press time at 1:30AM ET, it was already #4.

Insofar as it only needs to possess a top ten position at the 12PM ET voting deadline, the contestant’s song is effectively a lock for an iTunes bonus this week.

Also on pace to receive iTunes bonuses are Team Adam contestants Matt McAndrew and Chris Jamison, who are already in the top ten with their respective renditions of “Make it Rain” and “When I Was Your Man.”

As of press time, the two tracks were registered at #8 and #9 on the iTunes chart, respectively.
