Charli XCX to Perform on “Late Show with David Letterman”

How Charli XCX’s sophomore album “Sucker” will perform commercially remains to be seen, but its opening week sales drive will not be hindered by a lack of exposure.

In addition to appearing on the 12/13 edition of “Saturday Night Live” and the 12/17 edition of “The Today Show,” the singer-songwriter will also deliver a release week performance on “Late Show with David Letterman.”

First noted in conjunction with an Urban Outfitters promotion, Charli XCX’s 12/16 “Late Show” performance was confirmed by CBS Monday. Actress Anna Kendrick will also appear on that episode.

Featuring #1 pop radio single “Boom Clap” and top 25 follow-up “Break the Rules,” “Sucker” hits US shelves the week of December 15.
