Foreshadowed by the viewership bleed during Sunday’s premiere, FOX’s “Utopia” endured a major hit in episode two.

Tuesday’s episode drew a paltry 2.0 overnight household rating, which marks a decline of 43% from the 3.5 delivered by the premiere episode.

Insofar as Sunday’s 3.5 translated into a modest 2.0 adults 18-49 rating with 4.63 million viewers in the final Nielsen report, the 2.0 foretells a scary performance in the two key metrics. Those numbers will be revealed by 11:30AM ET.

CBS’ “Big Brother,” which aired against “Utopia,” drew a considerably stronger 4.3 overnight number Tuesday.
