More on Alberto Del Rio’s Summerslam Fight, Drew McIntyre Update

Thanks to its convoluted wording, a number of media outlets misinterpreted F4WOnline.com’s report on a Summerslam weekend incident.

Because the F4W story mentioned that both Alberto Del Rio and Drew McIntyre were involved in a real-life fight during the Summerslam weekend festivities, many assumed the story was alleging that the two scrapped with each other.

Dave Meltzer, the author, later clarified that he meant the two were on the same side of a fight with other, presently-unidentified people.

While the original report said that both Superstars looked beaten up when they returned to the WWE base, it appears only Alberto Del Rio, who was sporting black eyes notable bruising during his Summerslam match with Christian, was so blatantly wearing his wounds.

Following the Summerslam pay-per-view, McIntyre Tweeted a photo from his table at the Saddle Ranch Restaurant in West Hollywood. Though the photo is not clear enough to rule out any wear from the fight (particularly swelling), his face does not show any obvious evidence of a fist-fight.
