Latest News On “Hannibal” and “Celebrity Apprentice” – Has NBC Canceled Them?

NBC formally revealed its 2013-14 schedule Sunday, announcing a number of series pickups and renewals.

While it is always exciting to see a network’s new schedule announcement, the power of the media assured there were few surprises. Virtually all of NBC’s new series orders and veteran series renewals had been leaked prior to the official announcement, rendering interest in the announcement more about how NBC would schedule than what it would schedule.

But there were two points of uncertainty going into Sunday’s announcement: what was going on with “Hannibal” and “Celebrity Apprentice?” Reports on their fates had not been disseminated through the media ahead of the official schedule release, which prompted interested fans and reporters to scan NBC’s announcement very closely.

If they did, they would have found out that NBC has still not made a decision on the two shows.

“Pick-up decisions on “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Hannibal” are still to be made in the next few weeks,” read the update in NBC’s official press release.

Update: Donald Trump claims NBC has renewed “Celebrity Apprentice.”
