Amber Holcomb has spent the last several weeks enjoying a run as a judge favorite on “American Idol.” Unfortunately, the voters–those with the final say on the matter–were less convinced.
With two weeks of votes included in the calculation, Holcomb received the least fan support and was officially eliminated from the twelfth “American Idol” season Thursday night. She performed “Just Give Me a Reason” and “My Funny Valentine” Wednesday.
Holcomb’s elimination leaves Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison, who landed in the bottom two with Holcomb this week, in the final three.
