In need of at least one new host and two judges, FOX’s “The X Factor” has reportedly looked into Stacy Keibler, former WWE Diva and current George Clooney arm candy, as a host.
According to a New York Post source, “Stacy Keibler is also in talks to join the show, but her lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host. She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma.”
At least one key wrestling website blatantly misconstrued the line, “George Clooney’s girlfriend Stacy Keibler is in talks to join “The X Factor” as negotiations continue with Britney Spears to be a judge on the upcoming season,” to suggest Keibler is negotiating to join as a host.
Clearly, the actual intent is to note that “The X Factor” has opened separate negotiations with Keibler to appear on the show as it works out Britney Spears’ rumored judging gig.
Prior to last year’s infamous Cheryl Cole firing, which resulted in Nicole Scherzinger moving to the judges’ table, she and Steve Jones were meant to serve as co-hosts. After the swap, Jones ended up as the sole host
With the show rebooting following the release of judges Scherzinger and Paula Abdul and host Jones, Cowell might look to revert back to his original plans of featuring two male and female co-hosts.
