Major Plans, Spoilers For Monday’s WWE RAW

WWE holds its final Monday Night RAW of the year this Monday, and as WWE looks towards 2010 and the Royal Rumble, it has some big things planned for the episode.

*Timbaland is host. WWE referred to his “Shock Value 2” album as “guaranteed chart-topping” despite its terrible holiday season sales performance, but he nonetheless represents a fairly mainstream name for WWE RAW. His past collaborations with WWE include a music video that featured several of WWE’s Divas.

*WWE Champion Sheamus vs. John Cena is confirmed. WWE interestingly made this match just a week after starting an angle in which Cena vowed to go undefeated until he reclaimed his WWE Championship.

*An angle involving Bret Hart is expected for the show. All signs point to Hart making his WWE return on the January 4 edition of RAW, and as WWE wants to get the word out to assure the show destroys the live TNA iMPACT! special head-to-head, it seems imperative that WWE confirms Hart’s return on Monday’s RAW. The plan as of press time was for Vince McMahon to appear for a major promo that teases the imminent return of “The Hitman.”

*The DirecTV preview for Monday’s RAW: “Guest Host Grammy Award-Winning Star Timbaland. Plus, John Cena, DX & WWE Champion Sheamus.”
