Each show was its timeslot’s non-sports leader in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Last week’s cliffhanger could not prevent ABC’s “Scandal” from suffering a post-season-premiere drop this Thursday. That drop, however, failed to prevent “Scandal” from ranking as the night’s #1 non-sports program.

Per fast national data, this week’s episode drew a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating with 9.09 million viewers.

Last week’s episode posted a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating with 10.25 million viewers in the final ratings report.

Despite the drop, “Scandal” was the night’s highest-rated and most-watched scripted series. Among all programs, only CBS’ Thursday Night Football coverage fared better.

ABC led into “Scandal” with “Grey’s Anatomy.” This week’s episode drew a 2.3 with 8.45 million; last week’s posted a 2.9 with 9.55 million.

“Scandal” led into “How To Get Away With Murder,” which posted a 2.3 with 7.55 million viewers. Last week’s managed a 2.6 with 8.38 million total viewers.
