Fast National Update: The season premieres of FOX’s Thursday series “Bones” and “Sleepy Hollow” both drew underwhelming ratings.

Per fast national data, “Bones” posted a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 6.06 million viewers in the 8PM timeslot. It was its timeslot’s #4 program in the demo and #3 show in total viewership.

Relocated drama “Sleepy Hollow” followed with a series low performance. The episode, which commenced the third season, posted a mere 1.0 adults 18-49 rating with 3.56 million viewers.

After using last Thursday to rebroadcast the “Scream Queens” premiere, FOX used this Thursday to premiere the new seasons of regular timeslot occupants “Bones” and “Sleepy Hollow.”

The results were far from spectacular.

Per metered market data, veteran drama “Bones” posted an underwhelming 3.7 overnight household rating. It was its timeslot’s #3 program in households (behind CBS’ football and ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy”), but it will likely rank fourth (behind those shows and NBC’s “Heroes”) in adults 18-49.

The adults 18-49 number — and viewership total — will be available by 11:15AM ET.

“Bones” led into the season premiere of relocated “Sleepy Hollow.” Facing hefty competition from football, ABC’s “Scandal” and NBC’s “The Blacklist,” it drew a weak 2.2 overnight household rating.
