Foo Fighters’ “Outside” Tops Alternative, Active Rock Radio Add Boards

Foo Fighters [RCA]

Whether one looks as Mediabase’s alternative or active rock add board, he will find Foo Fighters’ new “Outside” at the top.

The song, which is the third official single from “Sonic Highways,” won adds from 14 monitored alternative stations. That total allows it to narrowly edge Meg Myers’ “Lemon Eyes” and Muse’s “Mercy” for the format’s most-added distinction.

“Lemon Eyes” and “Mercy” each received adds from 13 stations. Death Cab for Cutie’s “The Ghosts of Beverly Drive” and Foals’ “Mountain at My Gates” follow with 11 adds each.

“Outside” meanwhile received adds from 18 monitored active rock stations. It consequently reigns as that format’s most-added song.

Bring Me The Horizon’s “Throne,” which received 13 adds, follows as second-most added. Sevendust’s “Thank You” (9 adds, 3rd), AWOLNATION’s “I Am” (8 adds, 4th), The Arcs’ “Outta My Mind” (7 adds, 5th, tie) and Asking Alexandria’s “I Won’t Give In” (7 adds, 5th, tie) were also on the radar.
