Monday’s edition of “Siesta Key” enjoyed week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, the episode drew a 0.36 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 648,000 overall viewers.
The numbers best the 0.32 rating and 536,000 viewership mark drawn last week.
This week’s adults 18-49 ties for the second-best on record. The August 7 episode drew the same rating; only the July 31 premiere fared better in the demo (0.38 rating).
The viewership figure outright ranks as the show’s second-best mark to date (again trailing only the series premiere, which drew 674,000 viewers).
This week’s “Siesta Key” ratings gain comes despite reduced lead-in support from “Teen Mom.” Whereas last week’s episode drew a 0.78 rating and 1.347 million viewers, this week’s broadcast posted a 0.74 in adults 18-49 and 1.302 million in viewership.
“Siesta Key” has not become a major hit or pop culture phenomenon in the vein of “Jersey Shore,” but it has generated increased interest in the weeks following its series low performance on August 21 (0.25 rating, 438,000 viewers).
