“rockstar” soars to the top of the US iTunes sales chart.

Early Friday, Niall Horan’s new “Too Much To Ask” reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

Friday evening, a different new release took over the top spot.

Post Malone’s “rockstar (featuring 21 Savage),” that song, remains #1 as of 4:20AM ET.

It is worth noting that “rockstar” is presently outselling the explicit and clean versions of “Too Much To Ask” combined. There is therefore no asterisk associated with its position; it is the undisputed #1 on iTunes.

The explicit version of “Too Much To Ask” is currently #2 on the chart, while Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” (#3), Sam Smith’s “Too Good At Goodbyes” (#4), and Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” (#5) complete the Top 5.
