Earlier this week, Liam Payne’s “Strip That Down (featuring Quavo)” earned a gold certification in the United States.
The song just earned an even better certification in Payne’s United Kingdom home.
“Strip That Down” has crossed the platinum threshold in the nation, confirming 600,000 in UK units. The BPI announced the news Friday.
Payne was not the only One Direction original to score a platinum certification this week.
ZAYN scored a platinum awards for “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” his collaboration with Taylor Swift.
Other newly minted platinum singles include Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind,” DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts (featuring Rihanna & Bryson Tiller),” and Zedd & Alessia Cara’s “Stay.”
