Positioned against competition from the NBA Finals, Sunday’s two-hour “Fear The Walking Dead” premiere delivered a series low (live+same-day) performance in adults 18-49.

It nonetheless ranked as the day’s #1 cable show in the key demo.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” drew a 1.18 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 3.11 million overall viewers for the 9-10:03PM portion. The 10:03-11:10PM portion followed with a 1.04 adults 18-49 rating and 2.70 million viewers.

The show’s previous demo low was a 1.24 rating. The prior viewership low was 2.99 million, meaning Sunday’s two hours averaged out to a series low in that column as well.

The second season premiere drew a 3.08 adults 18-49 rating and 6.67 million viewers in April 2016.
