Ratings Update: “Scandal” Ticks Up For 100th Episode, “Grey’s Anatomy” Also Rises

Update: Final Thursday ratings data confirms that the 100th edition of “Scandal” slightly outperformed last week’s broadcast in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

“Grey’s Anatomy” was up slightly in adults 18-49 but down slightly in audience, while “The Catch” was flat in adults 18-49 and down in viewers.

According to national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Scandal” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.26 million overall viewers. Last week’s series low broadcast drew a 1.2 and 5.10 million.

“Grey’s Anatomy” opened ABC’s evening with a 1.8 and 7.19 million. Last week’s “Grey’s” drew a 1.7 rating and 7.23 million viewers; the demo rating was a series low.

“The Catch” closed the night with a 0.7 rating and 3.10 million in overall viewership. The previous week’s episode drew the same 0.7 (which ranks as a series low) in the demo but a stronger audience of 3.56 million.

While its performance pales in comparison to that of most previous episode, the 100th edition of “Scandal” did outperform last week’s broadcast.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Scandal” drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.35 million viewers.

The numbers top the 1.2 rating and 5.10 million viewer mark garnered by last week’s episode. Prior to this season, however, they would have been series lows.

8PM drama “Grey’s Anatomy” drew a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and 7.06 million viewers. The demo rating ties the series low drawn last week, while the viewer mark trails last week’s 7.23 million average.

10PM series “The Catch” posted a 0.7 and 3.15 million. The demo rating ties a series low, while the viewer mark represents a new one.

Last week’s “The Catch” drew a 0.7 and 3.56 million.
