Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” Reaches 5x Platinum In The UK

Another week, another wave of good news for Ed Sheeran’s “Divide.”

According to the BPI, the smash hit album has attained 5x platinum status in the United Kingdom.

The award confirms at least 1.5 million in UK units.

Along with the new album certification, Sheeran received a new double platinum award for single “Castle On The Hill.” He also received new silver single awards for “Divide” tracks “Barcelona” and “Supermarket Flowers.” The double platinum honor confirms 1.2 million UK units, while the silver honors confirm 200,000.
