Reporting adds for the final time in 2016, B96 reveals two additions to its playlist.
The Chicago pop station added ZAYN & Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” and Bebe Rexha’s “I Got You” in conjunction with the December 13 add board.
Despite debuting very late in the week, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” earned #26 on this past week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. It is a lock to earn this week’s “most added” honor at pop radio; an add count in excess of 100 seems certain.
“I Got You,” last week’s second-most added song, moved into the Top 50 at pop radio this past week. It is on track to reach the Top 40 this week.
