Halsey’s “Castle” Earns Gold Certification In The United States

In early September, Halsey’s “Badlands” earned a platinum certification from the RIAA.

In late September, one of the album’s tracks earned a gold certification.

“Castle” officially went gold on September 28, 2016. The gold certification confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Castle” is one of five Halsey singles to hold a gold distinction. She also has a platinum award for her “New Americana.”

The Chainsmokers’ “Closer,” on which she is featured, is double platinum.
