Ratings: “Guilt” Season Finale Draws Best Marks Since Premiere, “Fosters” Flat

Guilt [Freeform]

It would be inaccurate to say Freeform’s “Guilt” closed its first season with a ratings bang. The season finale’s adults 18-49 and total viewership numbers were weak by conventional standards.

The marks were, however, the show’s best since its series premiere.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s “Guilt” posted a 0.15 adults 18-49 rating and 396,000 viewers. The numbers top the 0.12 rating and 296,000 audience figure garnered by last week’s episode.

Only the aforementioned “Guilt” premiere, which drew a 0.16 adults 18-49 rating and 486,000 total viewers on June 13, fared better.

This week’s gain is nice, but the reality is that “Guilt” consistently struggled to attract a substantial live+same-day audience. Its numbers were comfortably below those of winter/spring timeslot occupant “Recovery Road,” which was cancelled.

— Freeform led into Monday’s “Guilt” with a new episode of “The Fosters.” It drew a 0.36 adults 18-49 rating and 879,000 total viewers, effectively matching last week’s performance (0.36, 884,000).
