Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” Reaches #1 at Pop Radio, The Chainsmokers & Daya Enter Top 5

The reigning #1 song at hot adult contemporary is also the leader at pop radio.

Up two places, Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” claims #1 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The Danish band’s breakthrough hit earns the top spot on the strength of the ~17,928 spins it received during the May 8-14 tracking week (+571). “7 Years,” which concurrently earns a third week atop the Hot AC chart, seizes the throne from Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza.”

“Pill” slips to #2 after a week on top; it received ~17,562 weekly spins (-252).

ZAYN’s former #1 “PILLOWTALK” slips one place to #3 with ~16,305 tracking period spins (-1,154), while Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” holds at #4 on the strength of its ~15,112 weekly plays (+1,117).

Spun ~12,486 times this week (+1,828), The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” earns #5. It was #7 last week.
