Troye Sivan’s Discounted “YOUTH” Roars Into Top 10 on US iTunes Sales Chart

Going into the weekend, Troye Sivan’s breakthrough radio single “YOUTH” already held a respectable position on the US iTunes single sales chart.

The combination of its discounted $0.69 price point and inclusion in the “Hot Tracks” portion of the iTunes store have resulted in a considerably more impressive position.

As of 4:50PM ET Saturday, “YOUTH” is up to #8 on the chart. While its pace has slowed in recent hours, it obviously remains on track to post its best US sales week yet.

The combination of solid sales, streaming and radio activity thrust “YOUTH” to #58 on last week’s Billboard Hot 100. While it is unclear how it will fare on this coming week’s chart, it should receive a big boost on the following week’s listing (which will include the current, discount and Hot Tracks-driven sales week).
