“Colors” Set as Halsey’s Next Single; Alternative Radio Impact Date Announced

While Halsey’s “New Americana” still maintains a chart presence at the pop and hot adult contemporary radio formats, its run at alternative radio ended several weeks ago.

Mindful of that reality, the Astralwerks/Capitol team is shifting focus to the follow-up.

As of press time, that follow-up will be “Colors.”

Per an announcement from the label’s promotional team, “Colors” is scheduled to officially go for alternative radio adds on February 9, 2016. Being promoted by Glassnote Records, Aurora’s “Conqueror” also possesses that alternative impact date.

With “New Americana” still active at pop and Hot AC (albeit showing signs of declining at the former and slowing at the latter), Halsey’s team has not yet provided “Colors” with an impact date for those formats.

“Colors,” a fan favorite from Halsey’s debut LP “Badlands,” reached Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart in conjunction with the album’s release.
